Why does Sauron get 16 months of data when GSC only shows 16 months? +
GSC stores 16 months of data on Google's servers. Most apps only request recent data when you first connect — Sauron immediately requests the full 16-month history available via the GSC API, backfilling everything at once so you have maximum historical context from day one.
Does connecting GSC affect my existing GSC setup? +
No. Sauron has read-only access to your GSC data. It cannot modify your GSC settings, submit sitemaps, or change anything in your GSC account. Your existing GSC setup is completely unaffected.
How often does Sauron sync GSC data? +
Daily, at 3am UTC. GSC data typically lags 48–72 hours, so what you see in Sauron reflects searches from 2–3 days ago — the same lag you'd see in GSC directly.
Can I connect multiple GSC properties? +
Sauron connects to the GSC property matching your verified Shopify store domain. If you have multiple storefronts, each connects to its own Sauron installation. Multi-property support within a single dashboard is on the roadmap.
